Tulisa Contostavlos Bailed After Hearing Over Drug Charge

British pop star Tusila Contostavlos is on bail until June 2014, after appearing before court in London on Tuesday, April 22, to face a drug charge.

The singer is accused of supplying more than $1,280 (£800)-worth of cocaine to an undercover journalist in a drug string in 2013.

The star was arrested in December and pleaded not guilty to all the allegations. She has returned to Southwark Crown Court for a hearing on Tuesday. She appeared alongside the co-accused rapper Mike GLC. He was accused of providing the illegal substance and also denied the charged. She was formally charged on 9 December with suspicion of class A drugs and appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court on December 19, where she denied the charge of being concerned with the supply of 13.9 grams of cocaine.

She was granted unconditional bail and then appeared again at Southwark Crown Court on January 9.

Judge Alister McCreath has now allowed them to walk free on unconditional bail and set a three-day legal argument hearing for June 25.

They will stand trial on July 14, only a day after Tulisa’s 26th birthday.

Let’s just remember for a second.

In March 2012, a sex tape of the star and her ex-lover, Justin Edward, leaked on the internet.

Contostavlos was granted an injunction (Contostavlos v Mendahun), which legally stops the distribution of the tape.

The injunction prohibited anyone from using, communicating, publishing, or disclosing all or any part of the ‘movie’ to any other person.
