Toby Kebbell Might Be The Villain In Fantastic Four

British actor Toby Kebbell has become the major frontrunner to play Doctor Doom, the villain in the new The Fanstastic Four movie.

According to Variety, this 31-year old is looking to beat out his competition. Other actors running for the role are Jack Huston, Domhnall Gleeson, Eddie Redmayne and Sam Riley, and they all are expecting to land the said menacing role.

Only if the War Horse actor lands the role, he will be joining other rising star actors, such as Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell.

Dr. Doom was previously portrayed by Julian McMahon in 2005, as well as the sequel form 2007, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

Kebbell, the fourth of five children, was born  who was born in South Elmsall, on the A638 between Doncaster and Wakefield, Yorkshire, but grew up in Nottinghamshire. He was brought up by his mother, Michelle (née Mathers), a cook and landscape gardener, after his parents divorced when he was eighteen months old. His father, Robert Kebbell, is an engineer.

Kebbell first came to notice when director Shane Meadows cast him in the role of Anthony in the film Dead Man’s Shoes. He was nominated for Most Promising Newcomer at the British Independent Film Awards and was widely lauded for his sensitive, moving portrayal of a young man with a learning difficulty.
