Sutherland’s Filming of 24 Brought Chaos To The Streets Of London

Kiefer Sutherland has caused an absolute mess on the streets of London at the beginning of this week while filming for his TV show 24.

It seems the actor’s tired of US so he decided to take the shooting of 24: Live Another Day to the British capital. On Wednesday, he was caught filming some intense scenes in east London with Mary Lynn Rajskub, his long-time co-star.

Interestingly, this was his first new phase of the thriller in the last four years.

As part of the scene, Sutherland was caught swinging around with a gun while covered in blood.

Several roads around Whitechapel were blocked during the day so the crew could film close shots of upside-down taxis exploding in front of confused bystanders.

Speaking of the series, Sutherland said, “24 has always had such a global sensibility. But to be able to tell this intense 24-style story with the beauty of Europe’s history and architecture as the backdrop is going to be fascinating. Hopefully, by the time you’re finished watching an episode, you’ll feel like you’ve been there… on the edge of your seat.”

24: Live Another Day is scheduled for release in summer 2014.
