Ronnie Wood Welcomes Another Grandchild

Famous Rolling stone rocker Ronnie Wood is happy to celebrate the birth of his eighth grandchild on Monday, May 26.

The music veteran’s daughter, Leah Wood, and her husband Jack MacDonald welcomed their second bundle of joy and a little brother to their daughter Maggie, who will be celebrating her fifth birthday on Wednesday, May 28.

Announcing the happy news on his page, the musician wrote, “Congratulations to my daughter @MsLeahWood and Jack & Maggie ~ Baby ‘Otis Sonny David MacDonald’ was born today!”

Leah, a British singer and model, is his daughter from his marriage to Jo Wood, who has been married to financier MacDonald since 2008.

The joyous news comes only a week after it was announced Ronnie’s bandmate, The Rolling Stone’s frontman, Mick Jagger had become a great-grandfather. His granddaughter Assisi gave birth to a baby girl.

Leah and her band have supported David Bowie on one of his tours, and she has also worked as a model, being featured in various newspapers and magazines.

She has backed the Global Cool climate change campaign.

Leah and Jack have been married for nearly six years.

Although the couple have yet to officially announce the news themselves, it is clear that the proud grandfather just couldn’t help himself from sharing great news.

The 66-year-old rocker also shared a cute picture of some Rolling Stones baby clothes next to the announcement.

Leah Wood married Jack Macdonald at Southwark Cathedral in London in June 2008.
