Ralph Fiennes Attended Wedding In Serbia



British actor Ralph Fiennes has visited Serbia to attend his agent’s wedding on Monday, May 26.

He jetted into the country on Sunday, May 25 to witness the event when his friend Joel Lubin tied the knot with Serbian actress Maria Karan, who was seen in the 2011 horror movie The Rite.

The happy couple met through mutual friend Fiennes, so their matchmaker was here to help them celebrate the big day.

Fiennes will be staying in the capital city Belgrade, Karan’s hometown, for four days to continue partying with the new bride and groom.

More on Fiennes news, he’s been keeping busy with various campaigns and even co-directed a documentary on Bernardo Bertolucci, it’s still been nearly five years since Luca Guadagnino’s last narrative feature, the beautiful “I Am Love.”

Thanks to Deadline, reports say Studiocanal is putting its weight behind the director’s new film, a still untitled “sexy thriller” that’s set in “the Italian island of Pantelleria.” That’s all we know for now.

While no other story details are disclosed, rumour has it Guadagnino is reuniting with Tilda Swinton and bringing along Ralph Fiennes, Margot Robbie and Matthias Schoenaerts.

His portrayal of Nazi war criminal Amon Goeth in Schindler’s List earned him a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor, and won the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.

His performance as Count Almásy in The English Patient (1996) garnered him a second Academy Award nomination, for Best Actor, as well as BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations.
