Prince William Graces Cover Of LGBT Magazine

Prince William has official become the first royal to ever be featured on the cover of an LGBT magazine. He recently did an interview with British magazine “Attitude,” and talked about homophobic bullying.

William sat down and met with a group of people that have experienced this type of abuse. He said that no one should have to endure bullying of any sort, especially not related to their sexuality.

Of course, this cover story comes several days after the horrible shooting at a gay club in Orlando, Florida, in which many people lost their lives.

William and his wife, Princess Kate, visited the U.S. Embassy in London this week and signed the book of condolence to pay respect to the victims of the mass shooting and show support for their families.

The prince, his wife and his brother Harry have been working on a campaign to combat mental health issues for a long time, and William has specifically dealt with the issue of male suicide. He said that it many of the people he talked to about homophobic bullying said that it led them into depression, eating disorders, suicide attempts and drug addiction.

He said that the people he met with through “Attitude” showed a lot of strength and optimism, which should give hope to people who are experiencing the same type of bullying.
