Prince Rumours Rejected By Glastonbury

Glastonbury organisers have confirmed superstar Prince will not perform at the festival despite the recent rumours that claimed otherwise.

Even though the pop singer never actually appeared on the line-up of the 2014 Glastonbury, a recent series of unexpected gigs in the UK started rumours that Prince will perform at the iconic music event.

Reports from last month revealed Prince is scheduled to perform on the Pyramid Stage on the closing night, but organisers rejected the rumours.

Festival organiser Emily Eavis told BBC Radio 6 Music, “He’s someone that will be amazing one day, he’s somebody that we haven’t had, and we would love to have him at Glastonbury. But no, no we haven’t booked Prince.”

We don’t actually know what Emily meant by saying he will be amazing one day, since Prince is already one of the greatest singers in history with ten platinum albums and 30 Top 40 singles.
