Peaches Talked About Her Mother In Last Interview

Tragically deceased Peaches Geldof talked about her connection to her mother Paula Yates and the strong parallels she’s been feeling. She opened up about it in the last interview prior to her death.

She was found dead in her home in Kent, England on Monday, April 7th. The cause of her death is still unknown and it could take weeks before the results are released.

Her mother, however, died from a heroin overdose in 2000.

Her final interview was intended for Britain’s Aga Living Magazine but was published in The Sunday Times after her death. Geldof admitted her childhood was hard, but she also said she could understand her late mother.

She said,

“I’m not sure I’ve yet fully made peace with my childhood, but with my mum I have come to terms with everything. She had a really difficult time. There are so many parallels between us. I feel her living through me all the time because we are just so similar. Now I can understand everything.”

Then she went on and talked about her motherhood, her house being renovated and about an upcoming Australian TV project.

It is said that her ashes will be scattered in the gardens of Davington Priory in Kent.

That is the place of her childhood home and also where her mother’s ashes were scattered.
