Peaches Geldof dies At 25



The daughter of rocker Bob Geldof and Paula Yates, Peaches Geldof, has died at age of 25.

On Monday afternoon, April 7th, police were called over concerns about the resident’s welfare to an address in Kent, England. The woman found was pronounced dead by paramedics.

According to BBC news, the body was later identified as the British socialite and TV personality.

A Kent Police spokesperson said, “At this stage, the death is being treated as an unexplained and sudden.”

Her father’s agent, Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne, confirmed the death on Monday, April 7th. She did not go into any details.

Peaches Geldof was married for the second time and had two young sons. She had worked as a DJ, model and television personality.

She was active in the fashion world and was a frequent visitor of fashion shows. She was photographed last week at a show in London.

Sky News quoted local police as saying the death was sudden and still unexplained.

Bob Geldof released a statement Monday, according to media reports. “Peaches has died. We are beyond pain,” it reads.

“She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us.”

Her mother, Paula Yates,  was a British television presenter and writer, best known for her work on two television programmes, The Tube and The Big Breakfast.

Paula died aged 41 from a heroin overdose in 2000.
