Lily Allen Is Unhappy With Her Singles On Air

Lily Allen has complained about the choices of her songs from an upcoming album, insisting record label executives chose only radio-friendly songs as singles.

Reg Wilding, a fan on Twitter was expressing his dissatisfaction with her new tracks on the airwaves, including Our Time, Air Balloon and Hard Out Here.

He wrote on Twitter, “@lilyallen’s new music is actually docile pop rubbish. So disappointing. She properly just wrote some rubbish to cash some cheques (sic).”

Lily Allen noticed the tweet, replying to Reg saying she’s not happy with the selection either. However, she urged her fans to have some faith in her upcoming album Sheezus, which will most certainly impress them.

She wrote, “What you’ve heard so far yes. All I can do is do my best, the labels and the radio stations won’t play the better stuff.”

The new album Sheezus, which was a tribute to Kanye West and his Yeezus album, is scheduled to be out on May 2.
