Keira Knightley’s Pout Ban Lifted For Chanel Advertisement

Filmmaker Joe Wright simply can’t make up his mind when it comes to beauty Kiera Knightley.

During the filming of Pride & Prejudice in 2005, the director forbade the British actor to show off her famous pout because he feared that it will become too clichéd.

However, in 2011, six years after he banned her pursing lips, Wright came begging Keira to make the most of her sexy lips during the filming of an advertisement for fashion brand Chanel.

During Graham Norton’s talk show, Kiera revealed that she was surprised when Wright withdrew his ban, and insisted she makes her signature look once again.

“Joe Wright didn’t want me for Pride & Prejudice because he thought I was too pretty, and then he met me and said, ‘Oh no, you’re fine!’… I’ve got pouting out of my system. I didn’t know I did it so much and Joe banned it from the film. Then when we did the Chanel advert he said, ‘You know that pout we banned? Can we have it back and as much as possible?’”

We don’t know about you, but we thought there was plenty of pouting in Pride & Prejudice.
