Katy B’s Little Red Tops The UK Album Chart

We’d like to congratulate Katy B whose album Little Red topped the official album charts. It’s the first time Katy B is the UK Number One.

Three years after her chart debut Katy B On A Mission, she has finally made it to the top of the list, pushing Elle Goulding’s Halcyon from the first place. London Grammar’s If You Want rounds up the first three places.

Reviewing her album, The Telegraph said, “Her magic trick is to sound like a Saturday night every girl and magnify those emotions into an almost spiritual, party-wide transcendence, like a street wise, 21st century answer to Agnetha Faltskog.”

In the meantime, the Official UK Singles Chart keeps Clean Bandit on top for their fourth week with the song “Rather Be”, followed by “Stay The Night” by Zedd and Hayley Williams. Pharrell Williams landed in third place with his sing “Happy”.

On this week’s charts, Katy B’s “5AM” landed among Top 20 Singles, while “2Crying For No Reasons” came into Top Five.
