Idris Elba’s Debut At Glastonbury



Actor Idris Elba will make his debut in Britain’s Glastonbury festival later in 2014.

‘The Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom’ actor, also a rapper and DJ, will make an appearance at the most famous weekend festival in the world in June 2014.

In a new interview via Spotify, music streaming service website, he revealed that he has found his inspiration in his role as late South African leader, Nelson Mandela and it helped him to architect “character albums.”

It will feature music he based on many major movie characters. He also discussed a possible cooperation with Robert De Niro which will be based on the movie icon’s Vito Corleone role from the famous Godfather trilogy.

In Somerset, England, this year we can see and hear stars such as Arcade Fire, Dolly Parton, Lily Allen, Disclosure, Lana Del Rey and Blondie.

This festival is the largest Greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world. It is also a template for all the festivals that have come after it. It has a tradition of bringing on stage the most important artists and musicians worldwide.

It takes place in a location of 900 acres in the Vale of Avalon, an area of mysticism, mythology and symbolism, as well as religious traditions.

It is called The Big Ben of festivals and they say that you can forget about all the instructions you were ever given before, as long as you don’t hurt anybody.
