Hugh Bonneville, from Downton Abbey, has suggested to his producers to include rap star Sean Diddy Combs in the Downton Abbey series. He got the idea after the famous rapper previously joked about joining the crew.

The maker of “I’ll Be Missing You” confused his fans last year when he announced that he’s got a part in Downton Abbey, but it turned out that he just shot an online parody for the humorous website

However, Hugh, who plays the character Earl of Grantham in the British drama, actually admitted that he’d love to work with Diddy since he’s a big fan of the rap giant.

The Daily Mirror reported Bonneville saying, “It would be amazing to get P. Diddy on. Downton Diddy. Brilliant. I’m keen to spread the Downton love.”

Downton Abbey added their first recurring black character last year when Gary Carr joined the crew for season four. Back then, Carnival Films managing director Gareth Neame stated, “Carr’s character addition will bring interesting twists to the drama, which we can’t wait for viewers to see in season four.”

So, maybe it’s really time for another new character, and we believe Sean Combs would fit in pretty well with the famous crew. If anything, it’d be a laugh.
