Veteran British comic Freddie Starr furiously stormed out of a U.U. interview. He was questioned about his sex abuse claims ordeal and couldn’t handle it, so he left the interview.

Starr was arrested in November 2010 over allegations he groped a 14-year old girl. Later, he faced even more accusations from other females.

Officials at Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service confirmed on May 6, they were formally dropping the investigations after overall 18 months, and Starr was interviewed for the first time by a team from U.K. show Good Morning Britain, after he has been cleared.

During a pre-taped interview at his home which was broadcast on Monday morning, May 12, reporter Susanna Reid asked if there’s anything Starr had previously done that could have been ‘misinterpreted’.

He was furious when he asked, “Are you being serious?” before he ripped off his microphone and asked her to leave his home.

He later returned to the interview and explained, “It’s hard to have an interview like this with it being so raw – I’ve only been released three days ago, I’m just catching up on my sleep.”

His wife, Sophie, also talked to Reid and revealed the investigation has changed her husband forever.

She said, “It’s changed him as a man. It’s like even the little things like with his daughter, at one point he was scared to even cuddle her because you’ve got the world judging you. I know Freddie will come back from this.”
