Daniel Radcliffe Gets Injured On Set

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe hit a low on the set of his new movie, an adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic Frankenstein. The actor has to undergo osteopathy treatment on after the filming of his scenes left Radcliffe with severe back pains.

Daniel recently performed in the West End play The Cripple of Inishmaan, but the role of the doctor’s hunchback assistant Igor in Frankenstein caused him spinal damage.

He told London Evening Standard, “I went from playing (the cripple) to playing a hunchback and the hunchback is much harder. I’m having lots of osteopathy – lots of bone-cracking sessions.”

Meanwhile, the role in Martin McDonagh’s black comedy play landed Daniel the Best Actor trophy at the WhatsOnStage Awards, voted by the public.

In a recent interview Radcliffe said, “Because of my own following and also because of the affordability, we were bringing a whole load of new people to see these plays. That was a very exciting feeling.”
